Geyser replacement, installation and repairs
No hot water, a geyser past its best, or a valve that keeps dripping. We supply and install geysers indoors or on the roof.

A geyser is half plumbing and half electrical, which is exactly why it suits a team that does both. When there is no hot water, it can be the element, the thermostat, the breaker or the geyser itself. When it leaks, it can be a valve or the tank. We handle both sides, so you are not waiting for a second contractor.
If the tank has rusted through or burst, it needs replacing. We supply and install new geysers, in the ceiling or on the roof, and replace the safety valve and fittings at the same time. If the geyser is still sound, we repair it. Elements, thermostats, safety valves and the pressure control valve, often called the master flow, can all be replaced on their own.

How we replace or repair a geyser
- 1
We switch off the geyser at the DB board and isolate the water before touching it.
- 2
We test the electrical parts and check the tank and valves to see whether a repair will do or whether it needs replacing.
- 3
You get a quote for the option that makes sense, and we explain why.
- 4
After the installation or repair we fill it, check for leaks, switch it on and make sure it heats.
Questions people ask
How do I know if my geyser needs replacing or just repairing?
A tank that is rusted through or leaking from its body has to be replaced. No hot water, or water that is far too hot, usually points to the element or thermostat, and those parts can be swapped on their own.
Can you install a geyser on the roof?
Yes. We install geysers indoors and on roofs.
What does the safety valve do?
It releases pressure and heat if the geyser builds up too much. If it drips all the time, or never drips at all, it should be checked.
Do you fit geyser timers?
Yes. A timer lets the geyser heat at the times you choose, so it is not keeping water hot around the clock.
